Griffin Albaugh W‘27

Griffin Albaugh is a senior studying Real Estate and Finance at the Wharton School and serves as Co-President of WUREC, having previously served as Head of Treks and Head of Investments. Originally from Wisconsin, Griffin is also the Wharton Chair for the Class of 2027 and President of the Penn Men's Rugby Club. He previously interned at Annaly Capital Management on the Mortgage-Backed Securities Desk and at BDT & MSD Partners, where he focused on luxury hospitality acquisitions and platform investments. In his free time, Griffin enjoys working out, exploring new restaurants, skiing, offshore and ice fishing, and traveling to remote destinations.

Josh Kwon W‘28

Josh is from Vancouver, Washington concentrating in Real Estate and Finance. Along with WUREC, Josh is involved with the Wharton Investment and Trading Group and the Korean Undergraduate Business Society. This past summer, he interned at ScanlanKemperBard in Portland, working in acquisitions and asset management with a focus on advanced manufacturing and multifamily assets across the West Coast. Outside of work and school, he enjoys traveling, skiing, exploring Manhattan’s hidden food spots, and rock climbing.

Wesley Chen W’28

Wesley Chen is a junior studying Finance and Real Estate at The Wharton School, currently serving as Co-Head of Investments Committee. He previously interned at HPS Investment Partners (BlackRock) within the Origination and Capital Markets team. In addition to WUREC, Wesley is a part of the Wharton Undergraduate Dean's Advisory Board, Wharton Investment & Trading Group, Moso Capital, and co-founded a startup food ordering app called Munch. Wesley comes from Melbourne, Australia, and is a skier, F1 fan, and amateur food critic.

Marilyn Shi W‘27

Marilyn is a senior from Queens, New York, concentrating in Real Estate and Legal Studies at Wharton, with a minor in Art History. Alongside WUREC, she serves as Director of Investments at the Penn Students Federal Credit Union and looks forward to studying abroad in Milan, Italy, at Università Bocconi. Marilyn will be joining BDT & MSD Partners’ Real Estate Private Equity team this summer. She has previously interned at Oaktree Capital Management, Sculptor Capital Management, Artemis Real Estate Partners, and Balaysny Asset Management. In her free time, you can find her beekeeping, embarking on outdoor adventures, reading memoirs, and baking.

Reed Sullivan W‘27

Reed is a senior from Tennessee, concentrating in Real Estate and Finance. He has served on the communications committee and has been active in WUREC since his freshman year. This past summer, he worked on the Investments Team for Welltower Inc., focusing on Seniors Housing, BTR, and Active Adult deals. He is also involved with the Wharton Investment and Trading Group’s Real Estate team. In his free time, he is an avid runner and enjoys learning history.

Kinga Gul W’29

Kinga Gul is a sophomore from Delaware studying Finance and Real Estate at the Wharton School, where she serves as Co-Head of Communications for WUREC. She is passionate about real estate and has been involved in events such as the SMU Cox Invitational Real Estate Challenge. Kinga is also a member of WUFC, SFCU, President of the Penn Polish Club, and VP of Finance for the Penn Figure Skating Club. Outside of school, she loves to travel, ski, and figure skate!

Robert Melsom W’27

Robert Melsom is a senior studying Real Estate and Finance at the Wharton School, and serves as the Institute chair at WUREC. Robert is originally from Saint Petersburg, Florida and is on the Men’s Varsity Swim Team. He previously interned in real estate development, investment management, and acquisitions, and credit. In his free time, Robert enjoys reading, backpacking, fishing, and surfing.

Speakers

Samuli Sistone W’27

Samuli Sistonen is a senior studying Finance and Real Estate at the Wharton School and has served as the Co-Head of the Speakers Committee since 2025. This past summer, Samuli interned at Norges Bank Investment Management — the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Norway — in their unlisted and listed real estate team in New York. Prior to this, Samuli has learnt about investment banking (cross-border M&A), activist investing (proxy battles), and real estate development through internships in both Finland and the US. Originally from Helsinki, Samuli has played youth ice hockey competitively and enjoys fishing in the Finnish Archipelago.

Alejandra Sanchez W‘29

Alejandra Sánchez is a sophomore at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania pursuing concentrations in Finance and Real Estate, with a minor in Consumer Psychology. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she serves as Head of the Speakers Committee for the Wharton Undergraduate Real Estate Club and is actively involved with Wharton Latino. Alejandra previously interned in asset management at Interlink Group, where she gained experience across hospitality and real estate investments. She is passionate about the intersection of real estate, finance, and consumer behavior. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, Pilates, exploring new restaurants, and photography.

Frank de la Terga W’28

Frank de la Terga is a junior studying Finance and Real Estate at the Wharton School and serves as Co-Head of Treks for WUREC. Originally from Miami, Florida, Frank has interned at a real estate brokerage and at a private equity firm, at which he held a focus in experiential hospitality and infrastructure investments. In his free time, Frank enjoys weekend getaways, strength training, trying popular recipes, exploring new cities, hiking, and camping in unfamiliar terrains.

Evie Rosenfeld W’29

Evie Rosenfeld is a sophomore at the Wharton School pursuing concentrations in Finance and Business Economics & Public Policy, with a minor in Film. Originally from Scarsdale, New York, she serves as Treks Committee Chair of the Wharton Undergraduate Real Estate Club (WUREC) and Events Chair of Wharton Undergraduate Media & Entertainment (UME). She is also involved with Wharton Women as a member of the Dollar Scholars Committee. Evie has interned at Sterling Investors, where she evaluated multifamily and industrial real estate acquisitions, and at Diameter Capital Partners, where she worked with the Commercial Real Estate team. Outside of school, Evie enjoys cooking, watching movies, hockey, and snowboarding.

Ali Shakerin W‘29

Ali Shakerin is a sophomore from Texas studying Finance and Real Estate at Wharton. Along with WUREC, Ali is involved with the Wharton Investment and Trading Group and the Joseph Wharton Scholars program. He has prior experience at a family office in Tehran and Arcadia Investment Partners, where he focused on technology, infrastructure, and real estate investments. In his free time, Ali enjoys traveling, running marathons, and exploring Center City Philadelphia.

Andrei Melnikov C’28

Andrey Melnikov is a junior studying Mathematical Economics in the College, with a minor in Urban Real Estate and Development at Wharton. He serves as Treasurer of WUREC, having previously sat on the Career Committee. Having grown up in Monaco, Andrey brings a real estate and real-assets lens to his investing work. He is currently a summer investment intern at G Squared, a late-stage venture capital secondaries firm in Zurich, where he supports the Middle East desk evaluating institutional opportunities and building deal materials. In his free time, Andrey enjoys playing padel, and listening to rap music.

Peyton Lange is a sophomore from Los Angeles majoring in Urban Studies with a Real Estate and Economic Development concentration. Alongside WUREC, she serves as a Vice President of Penn's Wealth Management Club and Marketing Undergraduate Student Establishment. This past summer, Peyton worked in real estate investments with a focus on research and analysis of the commercial sector. In her free time, Peyton enjoys exploring new food spots, playing tennis, and traveling.
