Congrats to the team consisting of Sydney Howard, Angelica Zhou, Jose Roberto Delgado, and Joey Popelka (from left to right) for winning the Expand the Empire Real Estate Case Comp in Toronto on Friday. The theme was about sustainable real estate, and the team made a stellar presentation on a sustainable development project to a panel of judges.

wurec study break: Movie night
As finals are approaching, WUREC hosted a study break for its members and played 16 Acres. 16 Acres is a 2012 documentary film directed by Richard Hankin which provides an account of the recovery effort following the September 11 attack, specifically the reconstruction process of the World Trade Center site.
Cornell Real Estate Case Competition

ICSC Retail Real Estate Case Competition
Head of WUREC's Membership & Development Committee, Katherine Salvatori teamed up with Sander Depietri and Amrajan Aujla to compete at the 2017 International Cornell ICSC Retail Real Estate Case Competition and won 1st place
